The Green Tour (GT) is an innovative advocacy outreach program developed by Green Habitat Initiative (GHI). It is an excursion that provides a unique opportunity to connect people with practical environmental solutions being implemented in Nigeria. Participants get to explore certain areas of distinct environmental conservation, waste to energy sites, unique agricultural and/or other sites/organizations advancing environmental sustainability. GT is not strictly limited to GHI staff or affiliates but to the wider community to allow for the exchange of knowledge and increase environmental awareness amongst the local environment populace.
