Aishat Yusuf

 Aishat is a recent graduate of Economics from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto State Nigeria. She is currently serving as a Program Assistant at Green Habitat Initiative (GHI) under the Programs and Communications Department. A passionate advocate for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), she combines a strong analytical skill set with a commitment to environmental sustainability.

Aishat journey began with a program and research internship at Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI). Here, she gained hands-on experience in program support, research, advocacy, and community engagement. Certified in Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis(FMVA) by Corporate Finance Institute  (CFI) and Data Analytics by CWW Tech Africa, she brings a diverse skill set to her role.

 Prior to joining GHI, She interned at the Rising Child Foundation (RCF) and contributed to impactful advocacy campaigns on issues such as the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act (VAPP) and gender-based violence.

Aishat dedication to making a positive impact is evident in her multifaceted experiences. Her work at GHI  as a Program Assistant involves writing grants, handling finance-related tasks, managing social media, and providing valuable assistance in project implementation which reflects her commitment to driving positive change, addressing pressing issues, and contributing meaningfully to the organisation’s mission.
